“This is an ongoing art class for children and adults. Negin Hedayat has over 17 years of experience teaching Drawing, Painting (acrylic and oil), Mixed Media, Animation, Character Design, and Background Design.
Each student will receive one-on-one instruction tailored to their desires and skill levels, as well as participate in group lessons and demonstrations. Students will explore topics such as line and contour, shape and form, light and shadow, space and depth, proportion and perspective, the principles of composition, as well as color mixing and color theory, all within a relaxed and enjoyable environment. This class is perfect for both parents and kids to have fun while learning together. Negin Hedayat earned her Master of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting in California and her Associate of Arts in Animation in Canada. She has a diverse background in the film industry, fine arts, animation, and graphic design. Negin has extensive experience teaching Visual Arts, including Drawing and Painting, Life Drawing, Portrait Drawing, and Portrait Painting in various academic and non-academic settings, such as the University of Cal. State, Fullerton, Long Beach City college, Idyllwild Arts Academy, Ryman Arts, and her own classes.”
LEARN THE ART OF MELTING GLASS IN A KILN
Lynleigh has been featured in various galleries and art shows across the Southland. Notably, her large sparkling woven glass sculptures can be found in private collections, the Santiago College permanent art collection, as well as the Beverly Hills Art Show, the San Diego Art & Wine Festival, and Laguna Beach’s Art-A-Fair. Her most prestigious award was First Place in the Nationwide Glass Craft Expo.
OCFA offers a unique introductory 3-hour workshop where students learn the basics of working with glass, and an 8-week long classes where students can delve deeply into the beauty of creating their own artworks in glass. Classes are appropriate for all levels –from the novice to the very experienced.
